This might seem like an unlikely contender for an exciting water sport, but it definitely is. Because swimming requires an intense amount of concentration and speed, you are always focused on being efficient and going faster. This type of motivation can create a great deal of anxiety, something that can subsequently turn into adrenaline. The constant need to do better and to keep consistent results makes swimming a perfect activity for anybody looking for their next big thrill.

On top of this, participating in swim meets or other types of competitions is a great way to increase the adrenaline and continually push yourself. Swimming is also unique in the sense that it often happens indoors, not requiring you to go to a location where the weather is good enough to go in a larger body of water.

For those who want to truly skim the surface of water, jet skiing is an ideal activity. Jet skis are essentially the water versions of motorcycles, providing you with an incredibly intimate and intense experience. However, this intensity can also be unsafe if you are not careful. If you are someone who is interested in going jet skiing, we recommend that you complete a course to ensure that you are properly trained before you get behind the wheel.
